Saideepa Welcomes on board our Managing Director for Sai Deepa Mining Tools, Mr. Pedro Miguel Martins Cavadas.
He is a professional mining engineer from University of Porto, specialized in  mining and geoenvironment studies. He has also studied in the University of Madrid, with objectives to increase knowledge in  Mining, speciallizing in Explosives and Mineral Treatment Plants. He has hands-on experience in running a quarry in Angola before taking on senior positions in international sales of reputed companies.

He plans to cover areas of Southern Europe & Central Africa through approaching key customers directly with technical knowledge, mining experience & excellent quality of Saideepa Products.

Climate change is not a problem for tomorrow. It begins today. The entire world is taking actions to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions as much as possible. At Sai deepa, we have taken actions to initiate such changes.

 

We are a manufacturing company with high consumption of electricity, which is generated by emitting a lot of green house gases. Our plan is to shift towards renewable energy as much as possible.

 

Sai Deepa has replaced the rooftops with solar panels. This will help us to smartly generate power from the sun.


 

In addition, Sai Deepa also has a separate unit which generates solar power. This is supplied to the State Grid, who give us an equivalent credit. Overall, Saideepa is currently using 30% of its required power through renewable energy & plans to reach a stage where 100% of our energy is renewable.  

Besides use of renewable energy, Saideepa is working towards paperless office system where most of our work happens online. This is in addition to scrap reuse, wastewater management, battery re-cycling and rain water harvesting.

 

Saideepa shall soon become a Net Zero Company !!!
